Carrie Cochran, MA, LMHC, NCC
Carrie is not currently accepting new clients.
Life can hold many difficult turns, but I believe deeply in hope and healing. I have many years of social service experience in the areas of trauma, sexual and physical violence, grief and loss, domestic and international adoption, and the needs of vulnerable children, youth, and families. This varied background allows me to help explore whatever areas of life may be currently impacting you. I am passionate about finding ways to heal the places where past pain affects current life and in helping people find meaning after grief and trauma.
I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Western Washington University and completed my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. My training is a multicultural, integrative, social justice framework that tailors counseling to meet individual needs.
I specialize in trauma response and healing, grief, and loss, life transitions, adjusting to medical issues, healing from sexual exploitation & trafficking, and blending families through adoption or marriage.
