Karinne Vittitow, Intern
My approach is based on inherent beliefs that all individuals posses dignity and beauty. I view life as a journey that is best navigated in the context of safe hospitable people and spaces. I am passionate about coming alongside individuals who are presenting with anxiety, depression, PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms, or who are simply curious to better understand themselves and their stories. I am devoted to supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, spiritual abuse, and psychological abuse. I provide individual or family counseling for adults, adolescents, and children.
Using a client-centered framework, I seek to journey with clients on their paths towards health, healing, and growth. I apply therapeutic techniques such as person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, family systems theory, and psychodynamic theory to provide clients an integrated approach to wellness.
If you are looking for therapeutic support through the hills and valleys of your unique story, I would be honored to join you as you navigate present and past terrain. I identify as a Christian and would be happy to incorporate spirituality if explicitly desired. I honor and respect our diversity. Thank you for doing this brave important work!
